This rare first edition of the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous is in good contain.  There is normal wear to book edges, spines and corners, and age-related yellowing to the paper pages.  The customized cherrywood display box holds an engraved plaque denoting “Alcoholics Anonymous” and “First Edition”, the interior padded to protect the book with the Serenity Prayer in gold lettering.  This is a beautiful piece of history that can be displayed as an art piece in your home.  Thank you for supporting your local Central Office and GOOD LUCK!

This rare first edition of the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous is in good condition.  There is normal wear to book edges, spines and corners and age-related yellowing to the paper pages, gold lettering on the spine.  The cover looks good for 76 years of sharing experience, strength and hope.
The inscription on the inside front cover reads Robert R. Commons, M.D..  There are few pen marks in The Doctor’s Opinion and Chapter Two – There is a solution.  These are slight pen “ticks” the margin of the book on these two pages.
